![]() I am seeking the repair done to the faulty window lock, delivery of the missing screen and hardware covers plus credit for the $600. I have left voice messages with John Harding with no reply. Clearview Windows and Doors has horrible customer service, never return phone calls or follow up on scheduling. has been paid (plus the $600.00 out of pocket expense for repairs). ![]() I still have one window that does not lock properly, missing a screen and the hardware covers for the window over the front door and caps for sliding door! Total cost for this project was $25,455.75 of which $24,410. The out of pocket cost for the repair is $600. I have placed numerous calls to Clearview regarding followup to repairs and have been shuffled around to Brooke, Molly, Dave etc all assuring me that someone would contact me to address the repairs ad as of Dec 1,2022 still nothing!!!I have hired my own contractor to fix the broken tile in my master bathroom and to repair the damage plaster and paint the damage around the sliding door and window. An employee named Anthony arrived on 10/13/22 to fix a window which would not lock (still not working) and to place covers over window hardware, missing was covers for window over door and slider plugs and was told that they would be ordered along with the missing screen. Informed Dave that a screen was improperly fitted and needed reordering. Was told that immediately after the County did final inspection the repairs would be addressed. Meet with Dave (customer representative who ALSO no longer works for Clearview) to go over put out list of repairs. Called Clearview on 9/2 to see when the last window would arrive and was scheduled the following week. Was told at initial sale that all damage would be covered after install on follow up (see attached photos). Upon initial install there was damage to drywall and a cracked tile in the master bathroom shower. The job started on Monday 6/27 and took 6 days for 99% installation as one window needed to be reordered for improper sizing (installation crew William and his friend also no longer work for Clearview). Was told by initial Sales person Tom Keelen (who no longer works for the company) that the install would take approx. I called the company on 5/19 to check on delivery and scheduled installation for June 27, 2022. 24, 2022 for impact windows/slider for my entire home. He's the best thing going in this film, and possibly should be nominated for his work.Contracted with Clearview Windows and Doors Inc. Hedaya captures the feel for the ex-President, from his creepy scowl when trying to be friendly to his state of panic when the truth of the scandal finally set in. Some people can do Nixon impressions, and some ARE Nixon. But the biggest treat of all is Dan Hedaya as Nixon. ![]() Their characters are very well-written - at no point do they do something that seems out of character. Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams are a real treat as the giggly, naive teenage girls. As for the acting, it's absolutely perfect. What happened to the section that Nixon's secretary chopped from the illegal tape? Who was Deep Throat, anyway? The 'answers' to these questions will make you laugh. The most amazing thing about this script is that while nothing is really historically revised to tell the tale, the girls' characters are used to supply details of these historical events that may answer some old questions. They subsequently get to meet many key Watergate players, including Haldemann, Liddy, Wooodward, Bernstein, Kissinger, and, of course, Nixon himself. One of the girls happens to live in the Watergate Hotel, and late one night they both innocently learn of the break-in. Admittedly, the plot's a little contrived, but it never makes the mistake of taking itself seriously. It's interesting how the basic character of a teenager hasn't changed - these girls dismiss Watergate and Vietnam initially and are more concerned with teen idols, school, and, well, teenager stuff. But now we get to see these events as they pertain to two teenagers. Some of us know about the events of the early 1970s because we were there, and others of us know about them through history books or from our elders. The events of the times are swirling around these two young ladies, but we see them all through their eyes. The two main characters are two 15-year-old girls - one the only offspring of a single mother (who is played by Teri Garr) and the other the only sister in a standard nuclear family, complete with a pothead older brother who's about to be drafted. In 1974, though, this scandal marked the first time a president's authority and character had been publicly questioned. In the present day, we see so many scandals involving upper-crust politicians (including, but not limited to, the President), that we have become jaded to their importance. Much time has passed since the Watergate scandal of 1974.
